And to tide you over, here’s a never before seen excerpt from TEMPTED:

“The fire’s almost out.” Isadora held out her hand. “Let’s go to bed.”
Demetrius’s gaze dropped to her hand, and he swallowed hard. “I—”
Oh yeah. He was definitely pulling out all the stops. Well, so was she. For the first time in her life she knew exactly what she wanted, and she wasn’t afraid to go after it. “No more excuses, Demetrius. Come with me.”
Hesitantly, he slid his fingers in hers and let her pull him from his seat. As she led him down the spiral staircase, her heart thumped so hard against her ribs, she was sure he had to hear it. But she wasn’t afraid. If anything, she felt powerful.
The Hall of Heroes was dark when they reached the bottom step. He waved his hand and lit one torch, along the far wall. Shadows and light played over his face, over his muscular body as she pulled him toward the makeshift bed. And when she turned to face him, she saw a thousand thoughts and emotions rush over his features.
She moved into him, until the heat and life of his body swirled around her and settled deep in her soul. “I want to be with you,” she said softly as she rested her hands on his rock-hard abdomen.
His fingers landed gently on her shoulders, the brush of his skin against hers igniting a rush of hormones deep in her body. “Kardia—”
“Here, tonight. Like last night, only this time I want you.” His eyes darkened at her words. “All of you, Demetrius.”
“You can’t. Your father—”
“It’s my choice to make. I’ve waited a long time. And tonight, I choose you.”
“Kardia.”
The emotion in that one word, my heart, stole her breath. Grasping the hem of her tank top, she tugged it over her head. The worn cotton landed against the dirt floor, but his eyes didn’t follow. They were locked on her. Right where she wanted them.
“Touch me,” she whispered.
His hand came up, and she held her breath in anticipation as his fingertips grazed the swell of her breast. Her nipples puckered, and a heavy ache settled between her legs. He stared at her breast, licked his lips, moved a fraction of an inch closer.
“Yes.”
“I…” His eyes darted up to her face. “I think you should get some sleep.”
He was gone before she could stop him. Before she even realized what had happened. “Demetrius?”
But he didn’t answer. The only sound was his bare feet hitting the stone steps. Then the whoosh and slam of the great door at the top of the staircase.
Confused, she tried to figure out what she’d done to make him run. Every time something happened between them, he pulled back at the last minute. Almost as if he was afraid she wouldn’t really want him if he got too close.
Her gaze swept over the room. Every time, he pulls back.
Her skin grew hot and damp as an idea took root.
A leader goes after what he wants. He doesn’t take no for an answer. Her father had said that so many times, it was ingrained in her mind. Wasn’t it time she started acting like the leader she was destined to become?
Yes. Yes, it was. And what she wanted right now was him.

This may sound totally weird but I have a thing for bad boy heroes(like Gray from After the Night by Linda Howard), there is just something about them, so my favorite character has to be Demetrius, you can feel even if he acts like a douche, there is something more to him that makes him all the more delicious.

As of right now I’d say Zander. There’s something about him that just draws me. Kind of like Gena’s Maddox. They’re both incredible visions of strength to me and yet they when they love, they love :).

I have to say Zander. Such a tortured soul, knowing what he wants is so close, but believes it can never be.

That is a very hard choice to make! I think right now…I’d have to say Theron. I can’t really think of a specific reason why, just that at the moment I like him the best.

I think my favorite character is Zander. Lots of inner turmoil, loves with his whole being, and sexy as hell!!

Demetrius has been my favorite character since his introduction. He’s unfairly treated because of what he is and that’s made him cautious about everything and everybody but you could tell he had a thing for isadora from the very beginning…and there’s nothing sexier than a bad boy who has a soft spot for a strong beautiful woman…just can’t wait until this book is released!!

Theron is my favorite. He is the strong and dedicated to the Guardians. Just have alwsys liked him the best.

I think my favorite character is Isadora. I like how much she has changed already, and I anticipate (thanks to sneak peeks) more change in Tempted. She went from meek and subservient to strong and subversive. Far too often, females in books are obedient and agreeable. I’ve met far more real women who are disagreeable and challenge authority (myself included). Isadora finds her own strength and learns to believe in herself, despite a father who has made her feel unwanted and less important than a son would have been. That’s a character anyone can look up to.

I think Titus is my favorite so far, I like the quiet and tortured, can’t wait to find out why he hates being touched. Thanks for another chance!

I read the first book back in March, and haven’t had the chance to keep up with the series since all my moving. But I until then I just love Demetrius. The mystery behind him yet unknown for me, he just draws me for some reason. Can’t wait to read more!

The Eternal Guardians series is new to me so I have no favourite. From the sounds of it they might all be favourites of mine 😉

I have to go with Demetrius. He broods, is a bit of a jerk (at face value). Can’t wait to read his story and really get to know what makes him…him.

This is hard…I really fall for characters, but if I have to choose a favorite I’d pick Demetruis. Love the mystery of him and want to get to know him better, though Zander is a close second!

This is tough because I like a lot of the characters. I’d have to say, though, that I keep liking Isadora more and more, so right at this minute I guess I’d have to say her. From reading the exerpts, Demetrius could shoot up in the rankings after this next book.

Agh! I like all of them (except I’d kind of like to shove the King down a flight of stairs) and especially like how Isadora’s character has been developing, but I really enjoy reading about Orpheus.
I know he hasn’t had a very big role and I’d like to see him get more of a storyline in upcoming books. I hope he doesn’t turn out to be a total creep, though that may be his lot in life as I thought he and Isadora would hook up, though now we all know that’s not happening! Hopefully he just won’t turn out to be the antagonist in the next book!

Well it is really a toss up between Orpheus or Isadora. orpheus because he’s such an enigma that it makes you wonder and such. Isadora, she has really grown throughout the series.
Though I have to say this.. Isadora, the name, makes me think of my friend Iz. Her deviant name is Isadora Legata. Then Atalanta, I have a friend named that. She’s Attie. Yes I love my two friends. They are awesome.

Isadora for sure. She has had a hard life, not in the aspect of wealth but in her sacrifices shes made and believes she will have to make later on. She has alot on her shoulders. Not to mention she was to marry 2 men and not out of love, and to see them choose love and she doesnt see that for herself. She prolly feels theirs something wrong with her bc no one wants to marry her. I can’t wait to read her book to see her get all kinds of good stuff she deserves!
Did I mention Demitrius! One word WOW!

So far I have to choose Theron but I’m open to change as I read more. Love your writing. Hope to read many more.
