I think my favorite character is Isadora. I like how much she has changed already, and I anticipate (thanks to sneak peeks) more change in Tempted. She went from meek and subservient to strong and subversive. Far too often, females in books are obedient and agreeable. I’ve met far more real women who are disagreeable and challenge authority (myself included). Isadora finds her own strength and learns to believe in herself, despite a father who has made her feel unwanted and less important than a son would have been. That’s a character anyone can look up to.

I do have to agree with Sarah on this. Other than Isadora’s name being similiar to a friend’s on-line alias I know and love her art (affectionately call her Iz). Isadora’s character has grown massively throughout the two books. In the beginning she was weak, tipid. The kind of character that gets on my nerves; however she is striving to be more, to break out of the gilded cage prison she was born into and to be HER own person.
Shoot Orpheous. I like how we know only so much about him. He’s an engima, and he really makes you wonder about his agenda. Gotta love a man who lives so close to the edge.
