CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MARRIAGE
by
Kieran Kramer
plus a collection of “tea time” goodies!!
Her heart’s been under the weather.
Every woman dreams of saying “I do.” Jilly Jones did—and years of a deeply imperfect marriage followed. Now living in London and working in a charming bookshop, the free-spirited Jilly is perfectly content with her newfound independence…until she meets a dashing naval officer who sparks her longing for a real happily ever after.
Is new love in the forecast?
Captain Stephen Arrow is just home after years of service, and he’s in no hurry to give up his hard-won freedom. The meddlesome bluestocking Jilly Jones is exactly the kind of woman he doesn’t need…But there’s something about her that keeps drawing Stephen back to the bookshop. With her sparkling wit and understated beauty, she seems like a surprisingly real match for Stephen. But will a scandalous chapter in Jilly’s past stand in the way of their heated attraction? For this bachelor, nothing is impossible…
“Quirky, fresh, and filled with brilliant dialog and whimsy, this sexy confection from the talented Kramer is pure sunshine.”

I am definitely a fan of military heroes! They’re just so Alpha it’s hard for me to resist one 😉 I can’t say that I have a fav of all time, but I will say that SEALs definitely appeal to me the most… so far anyway 😀

Do you mean in real life or romance? I mean, Spartacus was pretty awesome.
I can’t narrow it down in romance, but I love Suzanne Brockmann’s military heroes.

I think choosing a favourite hero is like choosing your favourite child: they’re all winners in different ways. I’ll take the easy way out and say that the book I am currently reading is my favourite: Beth Andrews’ A MARINE FOR CHRISTMAS.

OOOH I love a military/ex-military hero! To name a favorite would is almost sacrilegious, but if I have to name one it would be Lord Vale from Elizabeth Hoyt’s To Seduce a Sinner, oh or Cameron McKay from Lorelei James’s Shoulda Been a Cowboy. Love those two!

Ooh.. I love military Heroes. Their is an underlying strength and power about them. I have read so many awesome books that it would be really difficult to choose just one Hero. Christine Feehan’s Paranormal Ghostwalker series comes to mind for her military Heroes.

A man in uniform? Yes please! I haven’t read a lot of military hero books unless you count Garwood’s contemporaries packed with smokin’ FBI agents. The most recent war hero I recall, was Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. Christopher … mmmm!

I’ve only read two books dealing with the military, both while my husband was out to sea… so I very much sympathized with the writers… The first one I ever read was Chicken Soup for the Military Wife’s Soul… The second was The Ocean Between Us…

Most of the “military hero” books I’ve read have had the hero already retired from the military after the war’s end. Elizabeth Hoyt’s 4 Soldier series immediately pops into mind when I think of those types of stories (loved Jasper)

I absolutely love military heroes!! Can’t think of a specific book, but PJ’s or SEALS are my fav.

The first military hero that popped into my head was Alexander the Great. He decided to have a Grand Tour by conquering his way to India. I suppose a travel agent was out of the question?
Another one is Sunzi, the man who wrote “The Art of War” which is still read today even though it was written 2500 years ago.
