Up next is…
Lila DiPasqua!
At age fourteen, Lila’s best friend sneaked a romance novel out of her grandmother’s house. After devouring it, Lila was hooked on romance novels for life. Today she lives with her real-life hero husband and three children and is a firm believer in the happily-ever-after. She loves history and enjoys traveling. She’s been to four continents so far. Lila writes about historical alpha-heroes and the heroines who make them lose their hearts.
Lila’s latest release is A MIDNIGHT DANCE:
Inspired by the tale of Cinderella, Lila DiPasqua weaves a steamy historical romance that offers a glass slipper, a dangerous deception, and an impoverished beauty determined to find her handsome prince…and make him pay.
Born into wealth, Sabine Laurent and her twin sister lived a life of luxury, their father’s prestigious theater frequented by royalty and aristocracy alike. And Sabine dreamed of her own prince charming—the devastatingly handsome Jules de Moutier.
That was before the loss of her sister and her family’s fall from grace—a disaster Sabine blames on the Moutier family. Now, with her father’s death, she’s inherited his sizable debt and the responsibility of caring for his spoiled long-time mistress and her two wastrel daughters. But with the help of Sabine’s eccentric friends—the balance of her father’s acting troupe—she plans to get very close to her old infatuation, seduce the rake—and make away with a fortune.
Resisting Jules’s skillful mouth and tantalizing touch is not as easy as Sabine supposed. And soon she must decide whether her desire for vengeance is greater than her desire for her one and only prince…
“A MIDNIGHT DANCE is a sexy fairytale that will make you swoon. Jules de Moutier is the prince charming all women dream of.”

Cinderella or Snow White!!! Makes me feel young to watch them again.
I’ve read a couple of Lila’s books and she does a wonderful job of retelling fairy tales with a new twist.

My favorite is Rapunzel. I felt locked away by my mother by her thoughts when I was young and my prince saved me because he fell in love with my long hair. It’s still long enough to sit on and gets in the way at times.

Happy Release Day! I hope it has been wonderful for you 🙂
I think my favorite fairy tale is The Princess And The Pea. I was always drawn to it when I was little. I had a huge book of fairy tales and can remember always turning to those pictures while I waited on my Mom to come read to me. Isn’t it funny I can remember being three but can’t remember what I wore yesterday? I am rolling here!
I’m interested in reading about Sabine and the pain she carries. Thank you for the opportunity to win this book. What a beautiful cover also. The Cover Gods have been so nice to books lately.

My favorite fairy tale for authors to rework is Beauty and the Beast or the Ugly Duckling, but I prefer versions that don’t include any sort of magical transformation but a change in perspective of those viewing the main characters.

The Little Mermaid!!! I’ve always loved tales of the sea, and my favourite mythical creatures have always been mermaids, and I loved their brand of romance. Haha, not an insta-love relationship, and all the more sweet for it. 🙂

My favorite is Beauty and the Beast. She is a strong woman who is beautiful but, unaware of that beauty. Though scared of the beast, she gives all to him and shows him that love has no bounds and beauty is skin deep.
