Attendees received promo codes to download two of my books from Kobo at a 100% discount (yes, you read that…FREE!) through November 30. Just because you couldn’t attend, doesn’t mean you should miss out! Below is the list of pre-holiday presents for you–a list of ALL of the free books available via the event. You’ll need to “purchase” them from Kobo (via Jan’s Paperbacks, which supports a local bookstore, so that’s a feel good thing right there!) using the 100% discount code: JANSBOOKS. Follow the procedures below and get yourselves some free books! And tell your friends!
Click the Buy Now button. (Don’t worry you won’t pay anything because you have the download code–jansbooks.)- Sign in with your Kobo UserID and Password. If you don’t have one, you will need to set up one. If you are already signed in, just make sure your address is entered.
- Once you are signed in and selected the book with the BUY NOW button, choose PayPal to avoid entering a credit card number. This will take you to the “Confirm Your Purchase” page.
- Click on “Have a gift card or promo code?”and enter JANSBOOKS.
- Click the APPLY link.
- Now you will see at the BUY NOW button that $0.00 will be charged. Click the BUY NOW button.

I have a Kindle and don’t see any way to download to it.

librarypat, have you tried Calibre? It’s a free download that helps you manage your ebooks. I use it for situations like this one, where a book isn’t in the Kindle (Mobi) format. Download Calibre, add the books in epub format, then use the convert button to change it into Mobi. Then just hook your Kindle into your computer, and upload the book to your Kindle! Hope this helps.
