Release Day Hangover

I feel like those guys from the movie The Hangover (which is a classic by the way).

Woooooow! What a day. Nothing overly exciting, just crazy release day stuff. I’m so glad I don’t have releases every day. As fun and exciting as they are, I don’t think I would be sane! However, I have to tell you how thrilled I was when I came home from my errands and found so many fabulous comments from readers who want REAL heroes! Yay! I’ve got seven Eternal Guardians who are just waiting for you.

I know you’re all eager to see the winners from yesterday’s contest (I have them, don’t worry) but first I wanted to share some super cool news:

STOLEN HEAT was nominated for Best Romantic Suspense for the Australian Romance Readers Awards! I got this awesome news late Monday night and am absolutely floored to be in the same category as Suzanne Brockman, Cindy Gerard, Linda Howard, Nora Roberts, Jo Davis, etc. The awards are in Sydney, Australia in mid-May and though I don’t think I’ll be able to make the trip (sob!) I am absolutely ecstatic that the second Stolen book was nominated. If you’re an Australian romance reader reading this…THANK YOU! Pete & Kat are grinning too. To see the full list of finalists, go HERE.

Okay, now on to the fun stuff. The winners from yesterday’s release day festivities are:

1981 Clash of the Titans Movie
Mrs. Hanson (comment #25)

Lightwedge Flex Book Lights (3 winners)

And thank you to EVERYONE who stopped by to enter yesterday, each of you who have been talking up my new series and ESPECIALLY those of you who bought the book. I am forever grateful.

And if you haven’t bought MARKED yet…what are you waiting for?! Go get it today!

Oh…and before I forget…I’m at Cynthia Eden’s blog today, talking about MARKED and giving away yet another copy of the book, so head on over and say hi!

Congrats, darlin’! I imagine the release day hangover is somewhat like a migraine hangover…sluggish, wiped out, little extra throbbing in the head?

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone!

And Joan…that’s EXACTLY what release day hangover is like. Thank God for CPs who distract me and are easily distracted.
