Today one lucky winner will win Anita Clenney’s debut release, AWAKEN THE HIGLAND WARRIOR, which came out last month. You don’t want to miss this one!
He’s had centuries to dream of her…
Mis-adventurous historian Bree Kirkland discovers a one hundred fifty year old warrior buried in a crypt behind her house. But Faelan, the warrior, isn’t dead. When this chauvinistic Scottish Warrior awakes, he has no choice but accept the help of this modern-day woman who’s rescued him, but she’s more fearsome than the demon trying to kill him. If he’s not careful, she’ll uncover every secret his clan has bled and died to protect.
Purchase: Amazon | Barnes&Noble | Borders | Books-A-Million | Joseph-Beth
“Clenney’s Scottish paranormal debut is full of twisty subplots and sexy, romantic fun.”…”there’s plenty to keep readers looking ahead to the sequels.” — Publishers Weekly

Hi all. Thanks so much to Elisabeth for featuring Awaken the Highland Warrior in this giveaway. I hope the winner enjoys reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. These warriors feel as if they’re my friends. Big, hunky, good-looking friends. 🙂

I recently discovered Jessa Slade’s Marked Souls series which the first book came out a couple of years ago but it’s new to me! So it’s a debut that took me a while to get to 😉

What a GORGEOUS cover. Last book I read by a debut author was Jenn LeBlanc’s ‘The Rake and the Recluse:An Illustrated Novel’. This is quite the concept: a romance book with pictures. Nothing tacky. Tastefully done.

That’s a good question. 😕 I’m sure I’ve read one here recently but I just can’t put a finger on one. And yes, I’m sure there are debut authors on my Wish List. GAH!!! What a day………

Wow, What a great question. Unfortunately, one I am really not able to answer. I have picked up and read many a book based on it’s cover and not the author so I am not really sure. I would love to change that and win Awaken the Highlander and be able to say Anita Clenney.

I’m stumbling across new authors a lot but am not sure if they have been debut authors or not. Thea Harrison is one that looks really good (I’m guessing that she’s a debut author since some others are mentioning her name and I’ve got the book on request from the library)

Good question. I usually forget if they are considered debut or not.. since some are just using a different name.
I think the last was Mari Fee, a couple months ago.
