Release Week Day 4 (Part 2) – Win Anita Clenney’s AWAKEN THE HIGHLANDER!

Today one lucky winner will win Anita Clenney’s debut release, AWAKEN THE HIGLAND WARRIOR, which came out last month. You don’t want to miss this one!

He’s had centuries to dream of her

Mis-adventurous historian Bree Kirkland discovers a one hundred fifty year old warrior buried in a crypt behind her house. But Faelan, the warrior, isn’t dead. When this chauvinistic Scottish Warrior awakes, he has no choice but accept the help of this modern-day woman who’s rescued him, but she’s more fearsome than the demon trying to kill him. If he’s not careful, she’ll uncover every secret his clan has bled and died to protect.

Purchase: Amazon | Barnes&Noble | Borders | Books-A-Million | Joseph-Beth

Clenney’s Scottish paranormal debut is full of twisty subplots and sexy, romantic fun.”…”there’s plenty to keep readers looking ahead to the sequels.” — Publishers Weekly

I am looking forward to Thea Harrison. I know she is not a debut author but she is in that name, so I say she counts! OR Cheryl Ann Smith, I love the concept of her first book, The School for Brides

Right now I read “Demon Hunting a Dixie” a book by Lexi George, and I believe she is debut author! Another debut author that I would love to give a try is Thea Harrison and Kevin Hearne

I think the last debut auhtor I read was Tessa Dare, when her Goddess of the Hunt book came out (last year I believe). Congrats to Anita on her debut novel! It must be an exciting time for her.

Hi all. Thanks so much to Elisabeth for featuring Awaken the Highland Warrior in this giveaway. I hope the winner enjoys reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. These warriors feel as if they’re my friends. Big, hunky, good-looking friends. 🙂

Laurie London’s Bonded by Blood was my last debut book. She is already planning the release of several other books in the series including an e-novella that released today.

I recently discovered Jessa Slade’s Marked Souls series which the first book came out a couple of years ago but it’s new to me! So it’s a debut that took me a while to get to 😉
I’m also looking forward to reading Lexi George “Demon Hunting in Dixie.”

I just finished Thea Harrison’s “Dragon Bound” and am reading Keri Stevens’ “Stone Kissed” – one of these must count as a debut.

What a GORGEOUS cover. Last book I read by a debut author was Jenn LeBlanc’s ‘The Rake and the Recluse:An Illustrated Novel’. This is quite the concept: a romance book with pictures. Nothing tacky. Tastefully done.

That’s a good question. 😕 I’m sure I’ve read one here recently but I just can’t put a finger on one. And yes, I’m sure there are debut authors on my Wish List. GAH!!! What a day………

Wow, What a great question. Unfortunately, one I am really not able to answer. I have picked up and read many a book based on it’s cover and not the author so I am not really sure. I would love to change that and win Awaken the Highlander and be able to say Anita Clenney.

I have no idea? 🙁 I probably bought books from debut authors but most likely they are sitting in my TBR pile.

Honestly I don’t know if I’ve read a debut author before, but I love to read all different kinds of books and have quite a wide collection.

I think the last debut author I read was Kieran Kramer and her When Harry Met Molly. I have two debut author’s books on my TBR stack right now though – Allison Pang and Kevin Hearne – I can’t wait to read their books (A Brush of Darkness & Hounded).

I’m stumbling across new authors a lot but am not sure if they have been debut authors or not. Thea Harrison is one that looks really good (I’m guessing that she’s a debut author since some others are mentioning her name and I’ve got the book on request from the library)

Good question. I usually forget if they are considered debut or not.. since some are just using a different name.

I think the last was Mari Fee, a couple months ago.
