Wow, the last time I read a modern cowboy ( sort of) was Nora Roberts, mcgregor brothers books, well they did live on a ranch, ride horses and wore cowboy hats.
If we are going older it would be Rawhide and Lace by Margaret Brownley. Oldie but a goodie .

I haven’t gotten into cowboy romance much yet. I’d love to follow a few authors I’ve noticed but just haven’t made a big enough dent in my TBR pile. The last one I believe was Victoria Dahl’s “The Wicked West” Novella.
