Elisa Beatty loves moving between contrary worlds: raised on the East Coast in a deeply “historic” Revolutionary-War-era town, she now lives on the West Coast, just north of uber-progressive Berkeley, California. Her parents were scientists, but she fell in love with the arts, especially theater and writing.
